Join us in Roskilde in November, for an inspiring & often requested topic with Annah Raqs – IMPROVISATION.
Annah is among the most experienced & acclaimed performers & teachers in Scandinavia. She has been performing improvised Raqs Sharqi for over 30 years, and is known for her immaculate flow and musicality on stage.
As a teacher, she has developed a method of introducing and teaching improvisation that allows dancers on all levels to enter into the free flow of dance.
Her students often express how they have become more confident with improvising, and learned to hear and enjoy the music in a new way.In this workshop, Annah will give you the best of her techniques, tips and guidance to enhance your improvisation skills.
Music examples will be both from Raqs Sharqi and Shaabi/Baladi.
