In this 3-week course, we delve into Raqs Sharqi / belly dance with the styles, variations and influences closest to Annah's heart. Her personal style is based on Egyptian Raqs Sharqi tradition with legends like Naemet Mokhtar, Soheir Zaki, Mona El Said and Fifi Abdou, and on more modern expressions from teachers/dancers like Aziza of Cairo, Camelia and Marta Korzun.

The course includes technique, short combos & "mini-koreos", as well as guidance in variation and improvisation - the way to your own style and relationship with the dance!

The music we use includes 2 classics in a modern style, with changing tempos and emotions: Nassam Alayna Al Hawa and Ana Bastanak.
